Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking Registered Nurses to support the Bergen County School District with float coverage across multiple school districts. You will provide pediatric home health nursing on a per diem schedule, with flexible hours ranging from 8 to 40 hours per week.

In this role you deliver dedicated one-on-one care to pediatric patients with high acuity needs, while maintaining autonomy and close collaboration with families and clinical support when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey RN License or Multistate License.
• Physical from within three years.
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF).
• Valid BLS CPR card (in-person).
• Valid driver's license.
• G-tube, trach, vent experience or willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused, one-on-one pediatric home health nursing.
• Float between school districts within Bergen County to cover absences.
• Follow care plans and physician orders with clinical support.
• Maintain PPE and CDC-aligned safety practices.
