Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Nurse (RN) for a part-time, onsite role to support K-12 students in Oregon. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license in Oregon and experience in school-based or pediatric settings.

You will perform health assessments, administer medications, develop individualized health plans, conduct screenings, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student wellness.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, incl. health assessments and medication administration.
• Develop and implement individualized health plans with staff and parents.
• Conduct health screenings and maintain confidential student records.
• Advise and advocate for student health with staff and families.
• Provide health education to promote wellbeing in the school community.
