School Year: August 25, 2025 – June 17, 2026
Schedule: Part-Time | 30 hours/week

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Registered Nurses for a school-based role in Troy, NC for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a part-time position supporting an elementary student with significant medical needs.

Position Details:

Support one elementary student with Type 1 Diabetes

Monitor blood glucose levels throughout the day

Administer insulin multiple times daily as prescribed

Manage blood sugar fluctuations and respond to urgent changes as needed

Maintain detailed documentation and communication with school staff and family

Collaborate with teachers and district medical personnel to ensure student safety and well-being

Requirements:

Active RN license in North Carolina

Experience with diabetes care, insulin administration, and pediatric nursing strongly preferred

Prior school-based nursing experience is a plus

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to respond calmly and effectively to medical needs in a school setting
