Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Behavior Technician to support educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs in school settings. You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to implement goals and data collection.

The role is contract – part time, in a school setting. The position emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and dedication to improving learning outcomes for students with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification currently required or applicable.

Job description

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
