Job summary

Detroit Lakes Public Schools is seeking a School Readiness Educational Assistant at Roosevelt Elementary to support early childhood programming. The role collaborates with Parent and Child Educators to plan, implement, and evaluate ECFE classes, and assists with recordkeeping and other duties as assigned.

The position operates Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm (37.75 hours weekly when school is in session). Pay is $17.52 per hour, with the building located at Roosevelt Elementary.

Qualifications

• Must show an understanding of child development and enjoy working with young children.
• CPR/1st Aid certification or CDA credentials preferred but not required.
