Action Behavior Centers is seeking a School Readiness Behavior Therapist for our ABC Academy in Gilbert, AZ. You will work one-on-one with children ages 5–12, delivering play-based ABA therapy and following individualized treatment plans to build communication, social, and independent living skills.

This full-time role offers training to earn or enhance an RBT certification, plus competitive pay based on education and ABA experience.

Qualifications

In the ABC Academy program, you’ll help children ages 5–12 succeed by providing support alongside their school experience.

• Make a difference every day by working hands‑on with children with autism to build communication, social, and independent living skills through ABA therapy. You’ll implement individualized treatment plans, collaborate with a supportive team, and receive training to earn your RBT certification.
• Schedule: 12:00 pm-6:30 pm Mon-Fri, 9 am-12 pm every other Saturday
• Position is full-time
• Location: 335 E Germann Rd Gilbert AZ 85297
• Start Date: Immediate openings available!

• Experience that’s a PLUS (but not required): Childcare: nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor. Mental Health Roles: QMHP, behavioral health technicians. Camp Counselors, Paraprofessionals, Caregivers, Life Skill Assistants, SPED teachers

Pay (determined by education and ABA experience)

• High School / Associate’s Degree: $15.50–$23.75 per hour
• Bachelor’s Degree: $21–$27.25 hour
• Master’s Degree: $22–$28 per hour
• Fact: You’ll receive your first raise after earning your RBT certification!

Job Requirements:

• Lift up to 30 lbs
• Sit, stand, crouch, squat, and move quickly with young children
• Get on and off the floor frequently
• Maintain an active pace throughout the day

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
