Job summary

Richland County School District One in Columbia, South Carolina seeks a Coordinator for Psychological Services to supervise district school psychologists and interns, ensure compliance with federal, state and district regulations, and mentor staff within a MTSS framework.

The role reports to the Director of Special Services, coordinates professional learning, and collaborates with principals and teachers to ensure appropriate support services for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent) with at least five years' experience as a School Psychologist and SC State Board Certification as School Psychologist II.
• Possession of NCSP is optional.
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach school psychologists.
• Consult with principals and teachers to provide appropriate services for students with disabilities.
• Coordinate MTSS with DBSS and DBI.
• Collaborate with district teams to ensure compliance with IDEIA, 504s and related evaluations.
