Job summary

Westwood Public Schools is seeking a School Psychologist to support students across general and special education environments. The role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations for IEP/504 processes, delivering counseling interventions, and maintaining precise records and data to monitor student progress.

Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and external partners, the psychologist will participate in district-wide crisis response and ensure confidentiality and ethical practice

Qualifications

• Ability to write comprehensive and informative reports with education data.
• Experience completing IEP sections in a timely manner.
• Experience completing 504 plans as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret comprehensive psychological evaluations for IEP/504.
• Provide counseling relationships and clinical interventions to meet student goals.
• Maintain testing data, scheduling, and timelines to ensure compliance.
• Participate in pre-referral and positive behavioral support planning as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and providers.
