Job summary

Taconic Hills is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students in grades K–12. The role includes evaluations, reports, and collaboration with CST/CSE teams, with counseling and crisis intervention as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Hours are 4 hours per day, 10 months per year, with stipends and ongoing professional development opportunities. NYS fingerprint clearance is required for employment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or higher is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with staff, students, and families.
• Strong organizational skills to manage evaluations, reports, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K–12 students.
• Prepare reports and communicate results to parents and educators.
• Lead and participate in CST, CSE, and 504 meetings.
• Develop behavioral interventions and monitor progress.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with teams and outside agencies to support student success.
• Assist with IEP and 504 plan development and referrals.
