• Knowledge of current research, changes, and trends to facilitate positive behavior support.
• Excellent people skills.

Responsibilities

• Possesses knowledge of laws regarding special education eligibility and programming.
• Manages and facilitates work responsibilities for departmental school psychologists.
• Selects and administers age appropriate assessment methods and materials for evaluation.
• Interprets assessment results and compiles comprehensive reports with recommendations.
• Participates in eligibility committee meetings and contributes to IEP development.
• Provides in-service training and workshops for teachers and staff regarding SPED.
