Orange Tree Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist to provide education-based therapy to students in Colorado Springs for the 2026/2027 school year. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, IEP collaboration, counseling, and crisis intervention within school settings.

Role requires state certification as a School Psychologist and entails coordinating with teachers and parents to support student learning, behavior, and emotional well-being throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• State certification as School Psychologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and support the implementation of individualized, evidence-based interventions that promote academic success and emotional well-being.
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to help students manage challenges and build coping strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate psychological and behavioral supports into the educational environment.
• Participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary team meetings, providing clear reports, recommendations, and updates on student progress.
• Monitor and evaluate student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed in collaboration with the educational team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessment reports, intervention plans, and compliance records.
• Stay current with best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development and research.
