Position Overview
- Setting: K-12 Public Schools, Charter Networks, or Special Education Programs
- Start Date: Immediate for 2026-2027
- Format: On‑site assessments, counseling, and IEP team consultations
What You Will Do
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, triennial assessments, and initial testing for special education eligibility.
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings to present evaluation findings and recommend appropriate student services.
- Provide direct counseling services, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to individual students and small groups.
- Consult with teachers, school administrators, and parents to develop functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and positive behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with district teams and community partners to strengthen student support systems.
What You Need
- Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology (or Ed.S.).
- Credential: Active Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
- Skills: Strong foundation in psychoeducational assessment tools, IEP compliance, report writing, and clinical consultation.
