Job summary

Woodland School District 50 seeks a School Psychologist at Woodland Intermediate School to diagnose and collaboratively design remediation programs for students with academic or social-emotional difficulties. You will participate in RtI processes and coordinate with the IEP team as needed.

The candidate must hold an Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychology endorsement and a Master's degree in Psychology, with one year ISBE-approved supervised internship.

Qualifications

• Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychology endorsement
• Master's Degree in Psychology
• One-year ISBE-approved supervised internship; bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Adheres to district handbook and PBIS program guidelines
• Collaborates with staff to meet needs of students with special needs
• Participates in RTI processes and AP/IEP team meetings
• Writes formal psychological reports and interprets assessment results
• Maintains confidentiality and professional responsibilities
• Acts as liaison among school, home, and community
• Provides individual and group counseling as available
• Assists in crisis situations
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
