Start Date: 7/28/2025     Available Shifts: 8 D     Pay Rate: $2522.00 - $2623.00

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Lawrenceville, Georgia, to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages. This role involves providing counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the general student population, addressing issues such as mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, and conduct disorders to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development.

Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans, providing individual and group counseling, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators, offering crisis intervention, and coordinating outreach activities with pediatricians, counseling agencies, and other organizations.

Required Qualifications
  • Psychologist, School
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
  • State Certification and/or Licensure required to start the assignment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in educational settings
  • Knowledge of child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions
