Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field required.
• State Certification as a School Psychologist needed.
• Experience with school-based evaluations and IEP teams preferred.
• Experience with school-based psychoeducational evaluations and IEP teams.
• Strong collaboration, communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including intellectual and academic analyses.
• Interpret results for determining eligibility for special education services.
• Lead Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Lead Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide consultation and case management for students and staff.
• Participate in manifestation determination meetings and crisis response when needed.
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and other professionals.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws related to students with disabilities.
• Serve as a valued member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

• Interpret results and assist in determining eligibility for special education services
• Develop recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Lead Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide consultation and case management for students and staff
• Participate in manifestation determination meetings and crisis response when needed
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and other professionals
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws related to students with disabilities
