It requires a PDE School Psychologist certification and a Master’s or Specialist-level degree, with strong collaboration and report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology.
• Valid Pennsylvania PDE School Psychologist certification.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting.
• Knowledge of special education processes, eligibility determinations, and IEP development.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments of cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Interpret results and develop recommendations to support learning and development.
• Participate in IEP development and intervention plan implementation.
• Provide individual and group counseling to support mental health and social-emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Consult with staff regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determinations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable special education regulations.
