Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for an onsite contract to support middle school students in grades 6–8. The role involves evaluations, counseling, and collaboration with teachers and families to promote student well‑being and academic success.

The position runs from August 24 through the academic year with a flexible part‑time schedule (24–32 hours per week) and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and a 401(k). Competitive weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

  • CT School Psychologist license required.
  • Experience with middle school populations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of counseling techniques and assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Step into an impactful role as a School Psychologist supporting middle school students. This onsite contract position offers the chance to work closely with both general education and special education students within a collaborative educational environment. Key Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut (CT) School Psychologist license required
  • Experience with middle school populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of counseling techniques and assessment tools
  • Ability to work effectively with students in grades 6 through 8
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct psychological services to approximately 150 students in grades 6-8, including assessment, counseling, and intervention as needed
  • Support students in both regular and special education programs
  • Conduct evaluations and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop appropriate educational and behavioral interventions
  • Maintain thorough documentation and prepare reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Offer crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support students' academic and emotional needs
