Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Position Overview

Soliant is working with a school district near Oxnard, CA, and is seeking a School Psychologist to provide psychological services and support for students. The School Psychologist will work closely with educators and families to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and promote mental health within the school environment. Specific caseload details will be provided during the interview process. The individual filling this role will be working with multiple schools within the district.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead eligibility meetings, providing all necessary documentation and data to inform decision-making.
  • Work across several schools within the district.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
  • Provide testing and evaluations.

Qualifications

  • Educator's Credential as School Psychologist in California.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
  • Experience working with students with social/emotional disabilities and/or multiple disabilities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of assessment procedures, eligibility criteria, and the IEP process.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working in a school or school-related environment.
