Job description

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Description: We are currently seeking two dedicated School Psychologists to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for supporting students across a K-12 caseload within multiple school sites. This position involves conducting assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and providing valuable insights to support student success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students across various age groups and educational levels.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop appropriate interventions and support plans.
• Provide counseling and guidance services to students as needed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and other relevant data.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for ongoing support.

Requirements:

• Valid Kentucky School Psychologist Licensure.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and providing psychological services in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and writing comprehensive reports.
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
• Willingness to travel between multiple school sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with special needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and best practices in school psychology.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
