Job summary

The gobravvo district in Hanover is seeking a School Psychologist (NCSP) to provide comprehensive psychological services supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Demonstrated experience in administering educational and psychological assessments.
• Knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development and implementation.
• Strong counseling and consultation skills with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families, to promote academic and social-emotional success.
• Deliver individual and small group counseling services to address students' mental health and behavioral concerns.
• Support crisis intervention efforts and provide recommendations for prevention and response strategies.
• Assist in developing data-driven strategies to improve student outcomes and overall school climate.
• Consult with educators and parents to interpret assessment results and recommend instructional or behavioral interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives to foster inclusive and supportive learning environments.
