Job summary

Onward Education is partnering with a Denton County school district in Texas to hire a dedicated School Psychologist / LSSP for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite, full-time position focuses on psychoeducational evaluations, data-driven recommendations, and collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

The role requires TEA/IDEA compliance knowledge, a Texas LSSP license, and a degree in School Psychology (Ed.S./PhD preferred).

Qualifications

• TEA/IDEA compliance knowledge.
• Experience with psychoeducational evaluations is preferred.
• Experience presenting results at ARD/eligibility meetings.
• Strong report-writing and data-driven recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with MTSS and school-based mental health services.
• Ability to manage evaluation timelines and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations.
• Interpret results and present findings in ARD/eligibility meetings.
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports with data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and teams to plan interventions.
• Provide consultation on academic, behavioral, emotional concerns.
• Support MTSS initiatives and school-based mental health services.
• Conduct observations and progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timelines.
• Participate in ARD and multidisciplinary meetings.
