Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time, onsite contract near Brooklyn, MI. You will support student success as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with educators and families, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.

Qualifications include a current Michigan School Psychologist license, experience with IEPs and multidisciplinary assessments, and strong collaboration with general education.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in multidisciplinary assessments.
  • Knowledge of K-12 curriculum development and behavioral support strategies.
  • SPED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychological services as part of a multidisciplinary team for K–12 students.
  • Conduct assessments and interpret results for interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, admins, and families to develop IEPs and strategies.
  • Contribute expertise to behavioral and academic support programs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state/federal/district guidelines.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current full license or valid Temporary or Full Approval as a School Psychologist from the Michigan Department of Education.

  • Demonstrated background working with school-aged children.
  • Proficiency in conducting multidisciplinary assessments.
  • Knowledge of K-12 curriculum development and the latest behavioral support strategies.
  • Preferred experience with students in Special Education programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services as part of a multidisciplinary team to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Conduct assessments and interpret the results to guide educational and behavioral interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and strategies for student success.
  • Contribute expertise to behavioral and academic support programs.
  • Keep thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with all state, federal, and district guidelines.
