Job summary

VyTalent Solutions seeks a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year in New Haven, Indiana. The role is based in a school setting with a schedule from 08:00 to 15:30, and a contract covering the 2026-2027 academic year.

The ideal candidate holds Indiana licensure (or eligibility), a Master’s, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, and NCSP is a plus. Experience with psychoeducational assessments and IEP components is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana School Psychologist license or eligible to obtain before start.
• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• NCSP credential is a plus.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing IEP components in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Interpret evaluation results and present findings during case conferences and IEP meetings with families, teachers, and administrators.
• Collaborate with school staff to design, implement, and monitor evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions (including FBAs and BIPs).
• Provide short-term individual or group counseling and crisis intervention services to support students' mental health and academic success.
• Consult with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive classroom environments and support student learning strategies.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with state regulations and district procedures.
