Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a School Psychologist for a local contract in New Haven, Indiana, for the 2026-2027 school year. Position requires Indiana licensure and a related graduate degree; strong preference for NCSP.

Qualifications

• Previous experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing IEP components in a school setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services, analyzing cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
• Interpret evaluation results and present findings clearly during case conferences and IEP meetings with families, teachers, and administrators.
• Collaborate with school staff to design, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions (FBAs and BIPs).
• Provide short-term individual or group counseling and crisis intervention services to support students’ mental health and academic success.
• Consult with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive classroom environments.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with state regulations and district procedures.
