ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist for a contract role near Houston, TX to support students' emotional, behavioral, and academic success. You will collaborate with educators, families, and professionals to promote a positive learning environment and help students flourish.

Your expertise will be central to identifying student needs, developing intervention strategies, and ensuring that every learner gets appropriate support.

Qualifications

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience with psychological evaluations, IEP development, and counseling interventions.
  • Strong understanding of RTI and MTSS.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, families, and faculty to facilitate positive outcomes.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor intervention and prevention programs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and contribute to campus-wide safety and support procedures.
  • Deliver counseling and consultation services for individuals and groups as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
