Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated PreK-12 School Psychologist for the Opelousas, LA area. The role offers flexible scheduling with full-time or part-time options to support students across all grade levels.

You will conduct assessments, develop IEPs, provide counseling, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote student growth and well-being in a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience supporting students from PreK through 12th grade.
• Strong understanding of school-based assessments, special education services, and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and assessments to support special education eligibility and services.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed.
• Assist with the development and application of behavioral interventions and positive supports.
• Work directly with students to enhance social, emotional, and academic success.
• Contribute to response-to-intervention (RTI) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) initiatives.
