Job summary

EDU-AIDs seeks a School Psychologist in Alliance, Ohio for a full-time, 205-day school year. The role reports to the Director of Special Education and sits within Student Support Services. Responsibilities include evaluations, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families to support students.

The position requires a Master’s degree in School Psychology and Ohio licensure. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with experience in IEP processes and data-driven planning

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology.
  • Valid Ohio Department of Education certification/licensure in School Psychology.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual psycho-educational evaluations (academic, behavioral, social-emotional).
  • Provide counseling (individual and group) for students, including those with disabilities.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized learning or behavioral plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and assist in identification/placement of students with special needs.
  • Recommend classroom management strategies and positive behavior interventions.
  • Provide screening programs and referrals to outside service agencies when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for staff, parents, and agencies.
