Millburn C. C. School District #24 is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2027-2028 school year.

The role requires an Illinois Type 73 certification with a School Psychology endorsement, a Master's degree in Psychology, and an ISBE-approved supervised internship. The position reports to the Director of Student Services. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, participating in IEP teams, data analysis for remediation planning, and providing consultation to families and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology and one year ISBE approved supervised internship.
• Illinois Certificate Type 73 with School Psychology endorsement.
• Certification registered in Lake County.

Responsabilités

• Participates in screening of students and selects/administration of screening instruments.
• Conducts valid intellectual, academic, and personality assessments to answer referral questions using non-biased procedures.
• Participates in Problem Solving/ Intervention Team meetings and district planning meetings.
• Assists in data collection/analysis from IEP/Problem Solving meetings to identify and implement supplemental services.
• Interprets assessment results with IEP team; develops recommendations and educational strategies.
• Attends Annual Review/IEP meetings as needed.
• Writes formal psychological reports including results and recommendations.
• Evaluates intervention outcomes and adjusts strategies as needed.
• Provides consultation to parents, staff and others.
• Serves as a liaison between school, home, and community to enhance services.
• Plans and/or provides in-service training.
• Assists in crisis situations.
• Performs other tasks assigned by the Director of Special Services.
