Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services in a contract capacity within a South Carolina educational setting. The role involves assessments, IEP development, direct student counseling, and collaboration with educators and families to support student success.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to implement data-driven interventions, ensure legal compliance, and maintain meticulous records in alignment with district policies.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a School Psychologist in the applicable state.
• Experience administering and interpreting psychological and academic assessments.
• Ability to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Experience collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state education laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs.
• Develop IEPs and behavior intervention plans.
• Provide direct counseling and support services to students individually and in groups.
• Make data-driven recommendations for interventions and supports.
• Consult with educators and families to promote positive educational outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional learning communities.
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements.
