Job summary

Global Psychological is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our multi-district team in Clinton Township, MI. This full-time role focuses on psychoeducational assessment, report writing, and collaboration with educators, families, and administrators.

You will conduct initial and re-evaluation assessments, contribute to IEP development, and serve on interdisciplinary teams to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Psychologist License or Limited License
• Pediatric and/or school-based experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.
• Support the success of students academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.
• Identify and assess the learning, development, and adjustment characteristics and needs of individuals and groups, as well as environmental factors that affect learning and adjustment.
• Select and administer age-appropriate assessment methods and materials to determine the needs of the student.
• Complete initial assessments on all referrals received from the constituent school districts.
• Demonstrate competence as a diagnostician in administering intellectual, academic achievement, learning disability checklists, adaptive skills, and personality and behavioral assessments.
• Write a psychological report for all initial and re-evaluation assessments and interpret results to inform placement decisions and interventions.
