Job summary

Valorprepacademy is seeking a School Psychologist to collaborate with students, families, teachers, and administrators to support academic achievement and social-emotional functioning.

You will conduct psycho-educational evaluations, interpret assessments, and participate in IEP/CRISIS team processes while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards. Arizona IVP clearance is required, with travel within the state as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in School Psychology.
• Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance is required.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a School Psychologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes psycho-educational evaluations and re-evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team evaluation and facilitate associated meetings
• Completes evaluations within the appropriate timelines
• Uses instruments/strategies to assess intellectual, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral aspects for eligibility or accommodations
• Score, analyze and interpret psychometric assessments
• Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and intervention teams to identify needs and tailor strategies
• Participate in MET, IEP, crisis teams; liaise with community agencies to support student needs
• Maintain professional credentials, follow ethical codes
• Collaborate with supervisor weekly to review student cases, protocols and procedures
