Job summary

Soliant is seeking a School Psychologist for a contract position near Chicago, IL, starting August 12 and spanning the full academic year. You will support students' well-being and academic success by conducting evaluations, informing educational planning, and collaborating with educators, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include implementing interventions, IEP/504 support, crisis response, and data-driven decision making, with emphasis on inclusivity and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and interpreting data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to multicultural awareness and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

• Conducting psychological evaluations to inform educational planning.
• Implementing and monitoring individualized student interventions.
• Consulting with teachers, families, and staff regarding student needs.
• Supporting the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans.
• Promoting mental health awareness and positive behavior in the school environment.
• Providing crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with policy.
