Job summary

Solterra Academy is seeking a School Psychologist to support students with assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention in a public-school setting. You will work within a clinical team including psychologists, social workers, and therapists to provide comprehensive support.

Responsibilities include evaluating students, developing behavior plans, coordinating with families, and collaborating with classroom teams to promote emotional well-being and academic success.

Qualifications

• Requires 6th year degree in school psychology and CT SDE certification.
• Proficiency with cognitive assessments, behavior rating scales, and adaptive rating scales.
• Experience with children with challenging behaviors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and prepare reports for students aged 5-22.
• Provide individual therapy and crisis intervention as part of the clinical team.
• Consult with classroom teams and coordinate with families and community providers.
• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success.
