Job summary

Career Links is hiring a School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to K–12 students, aligned with state and federal regulations. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers to ensure individualized, evidence-based support.

Responsibilities include psycho-educational assessments, IEP participation, MTSS/RTI/PBIS interventions, and crisis support. Requires IL PEL with School Psychologist endorsement or eligibility; salary is hourly and

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• PEL license in Illinois with School Psychologist endorsement or eligible.
• Knowledge of assessment tools and psychoeducational evaluation procedures.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with diverse populations, including students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students referred for special education evaluation.
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations for interventions, and assist in developing individualized education programs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to support student learning, behavior, and mental health.
• Collaborate with school personnel to provide Tier 1–3 interventions within MTSS, RTI, and PBIS frameworks.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on behavioral and academic strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records in compliance with district policies and legal requirements.
• Provide crisis support and behavioral intervention as needed.
• Stay current with best practices, legal requirements, and professional development in school psychology.
