The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based role in Chesapeake, VA for the 26/27 school year. You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, collaborate with IEP teams, and provide evidence-based recommendations to support student outcomes in a clinically led team.

Ideal candidates hold an active Virginia School Psychologist license and an Ed.S. or higher from a NASP-approved program, with experience in IEP processes and psychoeducational

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral).
• Collaborate with IEP teams, school staff, and families to support student success plans.
• Complete documentation, report writing, and eligibility meetings (remote documentation flexibility where permitted).
• Provide consultation and evidence-based recommendations to school teams.
• Work as part of a clinically led team focused on student outcomes and service quality.

This is a full-time position supporting a local school district and is ideal for credentialed School Psychologists who are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Active School Psychologist license/credential valid in Virginia
• Graduate degree (Ed.S. or higher) from a NASP-approved or equivalent program
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and participating in IEP processes

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct on-site psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral)
• Collaborate with IEP teams, school staff, and families to support student success plans

COMPENSATION:

$50-$60/hour * W-2 Contract * Chesapeake, VA
