Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice seeks a Certified School Psychologist to provide assessment, consultation and intervention for K-12 students. The role involves conducting psychoeducational evaluations, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting staff with data-driven interventions.

Responsibilities include participating in special education meetings, developing behavior support strategies, and ensuring compliance with IDEA requirements while offering staff training and resources.

Qualifications

• Ed.S. or Master’s with 60+ credits in School Psychology; Doctorate preferred.
• Current South Carolina School Psychologist Certificate (Level II or III).
• Proven psychoeducational assessment and collaboration experience.

Job description

Role: Certified School Psychologist providing assessment, consultation, and intervention services to K-12 students.

• Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective interventions, participate in special education meetings, provide behavior support recommendations, and serve as a clinical resource for staff.
• Qualifications: Education Specialist (Ed.S.) or Master's with 60+ credits in School Psychology (Doctorate preferred), valid South Carolina School Psychologist Certificate (Level II or III), proven assessment and collaboration experience.
• Skills: Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills; ability to develop targeted interventions and work effectively with diverse educational teams.
  

Key Duties: Conduct evaluations, support student eligibility for services, develop intervention strategies, ensure compliance with special education requirements, and provide training and data-driven support to staff.
