Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's, Ed.S., or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology.
• Active South Carolina DOE School Psychologist Certification/Licensure.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and state/federal regulations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
• Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive psychological reports.
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
• Develop intervention strategies to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Provide behavioral consultation and crisis intervention when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and South Carolina Department of Education requirements.
• Monitor student progress and recommend ongoing services and supports.
• Promote positive learning environments and student success.
