Job summary

Sky Ranch Academy in Watkins, Colorado, is seeking a part-time School Psychologist for 16 hours per week. The role focuses on administering assessments, conducting psycho-educational evaluations, and supporting IEP goals with instructional interventions.

The successful candidate will hold Colorado licensure (Special Services) and will counsel students and families while collaborating with the special education team to implement targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid licensure to practice psychology in Colorado (Special Services).
• Experience administering standardized assessments across cognitive, achievement, and behavioral domains.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to support writing and implementing goals.
• Experience counseling students and parents and guiding families to resources.
• Collaborates with the special education team to design and implement intervention strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administers and interprets a wide range of individualized standardized assessment instruments in all psychological domains. The psychologists will be competent in administering and guiding other staff in the administration of achievement tests.
• Conducts effective psychological and psycho-educational diagnostic, prescriptive evaluations of children.
• Is able to complete interventions and instructional support to assist in developing academic skills. Is familiar with Individual Education Plans (IEP) and is able to assist in writing and can consult on implementing goals.
• Counseling students and parents while pointing them toward further resources when needed.
• Collaborating with the special education team to design and implement intervention strategies and programs.

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates must hold valid licensure for the state they are working in.
• Colorado: School Psychologist Special Services license issued by the Colorado Department of Education.

$32,960.00 to $37,348.00 will be the pay range and is commensurate with experience, education, and market as defined by NHA. The pay range listed is just one component of NHA's total compensation package.
