Job summary

The DeKalb County School District seeks an experienced School Psychologist to deliver psycho-educational assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling services. You will collaborate with the IEP team and stakeholders to support student success and ensure compliance with legal standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or closely related field.
• Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission certificate in psychology at level S-5 or higher or valid GA clinical psychology licensure.

Responsibilities

• Delivers psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education.
• Provides crisis intervention and counseling services.
• Collaborates with the IEP team and stakeholders to enhance student success and ensure legal compliance.
• Coordinates resources and manages moderately complex projects.
• Monitors student progress and reports updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Engages in problem-solving to address diverse student needs.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
