Job summary

Metter School District is seeking a School Psychologist to deliver psychological services across the district, including evaluations, 504 work, observations, and consultations. You will collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and community partners to promote academic success and mental health.

The role requires a Master’s or Ed.S. in School Psychology, Georgia PSC certification, and related experience; 230 work days; Exempt status.

Qualifications

  • Deliver psychological services including evaluations and 504 evaluations.
  • Provide consultation to families and school staff to support student needs.
  • Maintain professional relationships with school personnel and community agents.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess learning and development needs of students.
  • Prepare evaluation and eligibility reports and accommodation plans.
  • Attend case conferences related to placement and eligibility.
  • Provide professional learning to stakeholders on topics and regulations.
  • Assist with assessments related to gifted identification.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Director or central office.
