Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a School Psychologist based in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The successful candidate will assist in identifying and supporting children with special needs, collaborate with school staff and families, and conduct vital assessments. A Master's degree or higher in relevant fields is needed along with experience in educational or mental health settings. Qualifications

• Completion of 60-hour Master's Degree program or a Master's Degree with sufficient additional graduate hours to total 60.
• Completion of a Specialist Degree with a total of 60 graduate semester hours (Ed.S).
• Previous experience working with children, families, and resources in human services/mental health setting is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of finding and identifying children with special needs.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and families in prevention strategies.
• Conduct assessments for developing individual or system-wide interventions.
