Young World Physical Education is hiring a School Psychologist or School Social Worker in Albia, Iowa. The candidates will develop and promote an integrated educational system to support all learners and must possess a master's degree in either psychology or social work with necessary endorsements. Qualifications

• Master's or Specialist's degree which includes 60 graduate semester hours in psychology and education.
• Iowa license with school psychologist endorsement (B-21).
• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE accredited program.
• Iowa School Social Work Endorsement or Iowa Department of Education Statement of Professional Recognition.

Responsabilités

• Partner with educators, families and communities to ensure success for all learners.
• Support school/community efforts to create positive learning environments.
• Provide direct consultation to teachers related to academic and behavioral needs.
• Participate in development and assessment of instructional interventions.
• Assist in liaison activities between home, school, and community agencies.

Ability to analyze and interpret assessment data

Consult with teachers, administrators, and families

Conduct functional behavior assessments

Effective communication and relationship maintenance

Formation

Master's or Specialist's degree in psychology and education

Iowa license with school psychologist endorsement

Iowa Department of Public Health Social Work License
