Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist License (or eligibility for licensure).
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Student Assessments: Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral needs. Analyze assessment data and provide recommendations for intervention strategies.
• Counseling & Support: Provide individual and group counseling services to students with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Develop and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement strategies for supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide support and guidance in crisis situations and assist in developing behavior intervention plans.
• Special Education Services: Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Professional Development: Stay current on best practices, trends, and research in school psychology and mental health, and provide training and resources to staff as needed.
