Grant Wood AEA is anticipating School Psychologist positions to be available for the upcoming 2025-26 school year to start in August 2025.

Job Summary

Your work as a School Psychologist provides a range of services for students who demonstrate difficulties with learning, academic achievement, social/emotional functioning, and behavior. If you value inclusivity, service, integrity, and community, we want you on our team. Grant Wood AEA has school psychologists assigned to districts to help provide consultation and assessment for students who have school-related learning, emotional, social, and behavioral problems. The team emphasizes intervention and remediation through a team approach.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as a psychoeducational service provider involved in proactive, preventative activities as well as responding to identified concerns.
  • Provides services based on a combination of problem-solving, consultative, and direct service models.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Specialist’s degree which includes 60 graduate semester hours in psychology and education.
  • Iowa license with school psychologist endorsement (B-21).
