Job summary

Birch Agency seeks a dedicated School Psychologist to join a Walled Lake, Michigan school district. You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, interpret results, and prepare reports to inform student support.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to promote academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success, participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, and help implement behavior interventions in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or licensure.
• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports.
• Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
• Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
