Job summary

Therapeutic Services, a member of the Point Quest Group, is seeking a licensed school psychologist (LSSP) to provide comprehensive psychology services in a Corpus Christi, TX school setting.

You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations and support ARD/IEP processes to promote student mental health and academic success.

Qualifications

• Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, or eligibility to obtain.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Interpret assessment results and write psychological reports complying with IDEA and TEA guidelines.
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and recommend educational programming and supports.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.
• Provide consultation on behavioral interventions, social-emotional learning, and crisis response.
• Support development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and FBAs.
• Maintain accurate documentation including evaluation reports, eligibility decisions, and progress data.

About the Role:

Provide comprehensive psychological services to students in K-12 school settings. This role is embedded within a school district team and serves as a key resource for students with diverse learning and emotional needs.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, or eligibility to obtain
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearance
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred

• One or more years of school-based psychological services experience
• Familiarity with Texas ARD procedures, IDEA, and TEA compliance requirements
• Knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools and special education eligibility categories
• Experience with FBA/BIP development and positive behavioral supports
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
