Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, is seeking a School Psychologist to support students with mental health and developmental needs on-site in our school settings. The role focuses on qualifying students for additional support services and delivering on-site psychological services under state and district jurisdiction.

The position is a contract - full-time role located in schools, with weekly pay and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment.
• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred.
• Master's degree in psychology preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
