Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a district-based setting in Rensselaer, IN. You will conduct assessments, develop IEP/504 plans, and provide direct therapy to help students access their education and improve communication skills.

Collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly pay range, license and CEU reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state where services are delivered.
• Criminal Background and DCS Check.
• Eligibility to work in the US.
• Preferred: One year of experience in School Psychology.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs.
• Experience with school-based caseload management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of cognitive, emotional, adaptive, and behavioral functioning using standardized tests.
• Develop and consult on individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans based on assessment data. Create evidence-based interventions and strategies.
• Provide crisis support during emergencies and offer training to school staff on mental health, behavior management, and instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress. Prepare detailed reports for IEP meetings, evaluations, and other necessary documentation.
• Actively participate in team meetings to review and plan student interventions.
