Job summary

Global Psychological is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team, delivering comprehensive evaluation, assessment, and support across partner schools. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to foster safe, healthy learning environments.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, writing psychoeducational reports, contributing to IEP teams, and guiding placement decisions to meet students' needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist or licensed School Psychologist with certification.
• Pediatric and/or school-based experience.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.
• Support the success of students academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.
• Identify and assess the learning, development, and adjustment characteristics and needs of individuals and groups, as well as the environmental factors that affect learning and adjustment.
• Select and administer age-appropriate assessment methods and materials to determine the needs of the student.
• Complete initial assessments on all referrals received from the constituent school districts.
• Demonstrate competence as a diagnostician in administering intellectual, academic achievement, learning disability checklists, adaptive skills, and personality/behavior assessments.
• Write a psychological report for all initial and re-evaluation assessments.
• Interpret assessment results and compile comprehensive psychological assessment reports with recommendations.
• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary assessment team and contribute to placement decisions, intervention plans, and programs for students with special needs.
• Participate in eligibility committee meetings and contribute to the development of the IEP.

• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary assessment team assigned to each school and work as a team member in making placement decisions, developing intervention plans, and planning programs to meet the special needs of children.
• Participate in eligibility committee meetings and contribute to the development of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
