The School Psychologist supports students' academic, social, and emotional development through assessment, intervention, and collaboration. This role ensures safe, supportive learning environments and services to help students succeed.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Active or eligible Michigan School Psychologist certification/licensure.
• Experience with children/adolescents in school or clinical settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, data analysis, and evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning.
• Interpret data to support eligibility determinations and inform instructional and intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services.
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation to school staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
